Indian Creek Dr. (SR A1A) is a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway and as such construction of this project complies with all applicable FDOT manuals, memorandums and guidelines including a Pump Station with three (3) 14,000 GPM pumps, water treatment and backup bi-fuel generator. $19M
River Oaks Stormwater Improvements Dec 2021 – Present
The Project is located between Davie Road, SW 9th Avenue, State Road 84 and Interstate 95, in the City of Fort Lauderdale and is the largest drainage project of its kind in the cities 111 year history. $25M
Champlain Towers South Recovery July 2021 – July 2021
Ric-Man Construction Florida, Inc Florida provided machines, operators, and management staff to assist Miami Dade County Fire Rescue and Miami Dade County Police in the recovery efforts and investigation at the Champlain Towers South Building collapse. 7 Machines, 2 cranes, and over 15 operators worked 24 hours a day at the building collapse site as well as the dump site. Operators worked under extreme conditions, including poor air quality, delicate recovery of human remains, and preservation of a crime Scene. Miami Dade County also relied on the expertise of Ric-Man Construction Florida, Inc Florida to dewater the site once it was cleared so the investigation could continue into the cause of the collapse. $2.4M
Emergency Repair 54″ PCCP Sewer Force Main at Flagler Street in the vicinity of the Palmetto Expressway May 10, 2021 – May 25, 2021
The project consisted of the emergency installation of 54-inch prestressed concrete pipe for sewage force main that was removed for an unsuccessful swagelining project by others at Flagler Street just east and west of the Palmetto Expressway. The project was on an emergency basis with the Department furnishing 54-inch PCCP pipe lengths, bends and closures. $1.1M
Emergency Repairs 60″ Transmission Water Main Damaged by an Auger at the Railroad Crossing on East 13 St West of East 11 Ave in Hialeah, FL
Oct 18, 2022 – Oct. 21, 2022
The project consisted of the emergency pipe repair of a 60-inch PCCP Water Main damaged by an auger installing a new light post at the railroad crossing on NW 67 Street west of NW 37 Ave. The project was done on an emergency basis with Ric-Man Construction Florida, Inc Florida providing all labor and equipment to remove and replace the damaged pipe. The project was adjacent to a railroad which operates the Tri-Rail. The pipe was repaired by cutting and removing the damaged 16-foot length and replacing with a new 60-inch repair kit at the Department SWWF yard (10-foot short, closure and adapters). The water main was shut down, deactivated and dewatered. $389,000
