Description

A Design Build project of 54-inch, 48-inch, 36 inch and 30-inch Gravity Sewer Interceptors for Pump Station No. 3. Relocation of Pump Station No. 8. Construction of approximately 4800 LF of 48” gravity sewer installed via micro tunnel in densely populated downtown Miami. A three way secant pile launch shaft was used to tunnel west to Master Pump Station No. 3, south to a 14 foot- auger-drilled-CMP-liner retrieval shaft, and north through two intermediate CMP liner shafts. The project was under an aggressive timeline as current residential and mixed-use developments are anticipated being on line by the end of the year.
